“Yes, eventually, but it may take a long time.”

If someone had given me that advice while we were waiting, I would’ve mumbled expletives at her/him under my breath and then bragged later to no one in particular how I had said those things out loud.

But the wait is not the hardest part. The hardest part is the uncertainty, the not knowing, the not being sure if you did everything right, answered every question the way an expectant mother might want you to have, and never really knowing until it’s either too late or, best case scenario, you get a baby!

But again, I’m giving advice I would’ve hated getting myself. Truth is, and I hate to say it like this, but truth is
